As Head of Growth, you will be responsible for rapidly growing Foundation’s device sales to millions of units per year while also establishing Envoy as the most recommended Bitcoin software wallet on the market.

Candidates must have prior experience scaling sales at a consumer hardware company.

Select Responsibilities

• Drive sales of our Passport hardware wallet and future devices
• Grow downloads of our Envoy mobile app and associated services revenue
• Prepare and execute a cohesive outbound sales strategy, including effective advertising
• Prepare and execute a cohesive distribution strategy for Passport and future devices, including retail and B2B opportunities
• Collaborate with our Head of Marketing and the rest of the leadership team on partnerships, content, and other inbound and outbound sales efforts

Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in a consumer hardware company (hard requirement)
• Ability to first work as an individual contributor and then grow your team
• 5+ years in sales and/or growth roles (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with overseeing advertising, partnerships, and distribution
• Enthusiasm for Bitcoin and empowering people with freedom are required

• Develop new UI components in Slint & Rust
• Develop and improve frameworks, features, and applications in Rust
• Write developer documentation for these components, frameworks and applications
• Investigate and resolve bugs
• Follow Foundation’s software development processes
• Implement unit tests for all code (test-driven development)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience developing in Rust
• 2+ years of experience implementing UI designs using any UI toolkit

Bonus Points

• Experience writing code for Bitcoin
• Experience with the Slint UI framework
• Enthusiasm for Bitcoin and empowering people with financial sovereignty
• Familiarity with other UI frameworks like React or SolidJS

• Experience with FreeRTOS and/or ESP32 IDF frameworks

Select Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance firmware for USB, NFC, and Bluetooth connectivity using embedded Rust, ensuring our products’ responsiveness
• Collaborate remotely with our multi-disciplinary engineering team
• Contribute to system architecture and hardware/software interface decisions
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of connectivity features, employing test-driven development practices to ensure code reliability and functionality
• Debug and optimize device drivers and software to enhance efficiency and performance
• Write clear and sufficient internal documentation for developed software
• Support product certification processes, adhering to connectivity standards and regulations
• Provide ongoing technical support and resolve issues throughout the contract period and possibly beyond

Qualifications

• Previous experience implementing USB, NFC and Bluetooth drivers with embedded Rust
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, plus 5+ years of experience
• Demonstrated expertise in embedded Rust (2+ years)
• Proficiency in the development, testing, and debugging of device drivers in Rust
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication abilities, with proven experience working effectively both independently and in a remote team setting
• Bonus points for enthusiasm for Bitcoin and a commitment to promoting individual sovereignty
